Who we are:
The City Hope Café is a morning connection point for our neighbors. Here, guests can grab a free latté, coffee, a home-made breakfast item, and necessary services including affordable housing case management, medical relief counseling, and educational classes. Most importantly, the space is a safe and welcoming place of connection for all who enter.
What you will do:
Roles will be delegated at orientation at 8:30am. Roles can range from greeting our guests and taking their orders at the bar, serving people drip coffee or tea, to waiting and/or bussing tables, to expediting orders, to washing dishes.
***Bringing in a minor?
We deeply value all volunteers of all ages and welcome minors above the age of 9 to serve alongside us. If you want to bring a minor to volunteer with you:
- Under 9 years old - Due to insurance and security reasons, we are unable to host volunteers younger than 9 years old
- Between 9 and 12 years old - They will need a supervising adult volunteer serving alongside them (equaling 1 volunteer)
- 13 and older - Welcome to come and serve as an independent volunteer
